7/1 Year Adjustable Rate Mortgage

This product offers a fixed rate for the first 7 years of the loan and adjusts every year after. Like the 10/1 ARM, the interest rate is based upon an index and a margin. 7/1 ARM loans offer slightly lower interest rates than 10/1 ARM's but are still a bit higher than the shorter term loans. This type of ARM is available on owner occupied, second homes, and investment properties.
