Another area of Washington that is affordable, yet showing great appreciating home value, is Vancouver, Washington. Vancouver is currently appreciating at a rate of 10% per year, which is attracting a many buyers. The current median home price for a home in Vancouver is $186,800.

The Puget Sound areas of Washington provide breathtaking scenic views and unlimited possibilities for recreational activities such as fishing and skiing. Puget Sound is located among the Black Hills. It is centrally located between Oceanside, Portland, and Seattle, and offers easy access to these desirable locations. The Puget Sound housing market is experiencing a high buyer demand with low inventory, so buyers are being forced to purchase quickly for desirable properties and locations.
